TERMS & POLICIES FOR RETREATS, EVENTS, AND ADVENTURES
1. The information provided through Sandika Joy's retreats, events, and adventures are not intended to be, nor is it implied to be, a substitute for professional, medical or psychiatric advice. You - "the Client" - should always seek the advice of your physician, therapist, counselor, or other qualified health care provider prior to commencing any treatment for any conditions, diseases or maladies, and questions in relation to such treatment should be directed to such professional health care providers. The Client should never disregard their professional medical advice or delay in seeking such advice because of information obtained from information passed from Sandika Joy.
2. Because of the limited and capped amount of participants for our events, purchase for participation in Sandika Joy's retreats, events, and adventures are non-refundable. The Client, if unable to attend, is required to provide Sandika Joy 3 week's notice prior to the event starting. Client, if unable to attend, can use the registration fee towards any other of Sandika's programs or services.
3. The Client shall indemnify and hold Sandika Joy and any other members of her staff (volunteer or paid) working up to or on the day of the retreats, events, and adventures harmless from any loss or liability arising from actions taken or situations created as a result of retreats, events, and adventures.
4. The relationship between Sandika Joy and/or any members of her staff (volunteer or paid) working up to or on the day of retreats, events, and adventures and this agreement are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, without respect to its conflict of laws principles, and you expressly agree that courts of the Province of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction with respect to any dispute with the Coach in any way relating to this coaching session. Any legal proceedings shall be commenced in the City of Nanaimo and you attorn to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia
TERMS & POLICIES FOR SANDIKA JOY COACHING
The information provided through Sandika Joy Coaching (herein referred to as "the Coach") is not intended to be, nor is it implied to be, a substitute for professional, medical or pharmaceutical advice. You - "the Client" - should always seek the advice of their physician, pharmacist, or other qualified health care provider prior to commencing any treatment for any conditions, diseases or maladies, and questions in relation to such treatment should be directed to such professional health care providers. The Client should never disregard their professional medical advice or delay in seeking such advice because of information obtained from the Coach.
Coaching calls are sixty (60) minutes in length. Coaching calls are held by Coach's private conference line. (To be decided by the Coach.) Call-in details will be provided to the Client upon registration.
Coaching calls will be recorded for the Client's personal use only. All information disclosed to the Coach in a session is confidential and will not be revealed to anyone without the Client's written permission.
Coaching calls with the Coach must be used by the Client within 1 year of the purchase date.
Coaching is non-refundable or transferable.
All appointments require a minimum of 48-hours-notice for rescheduling. Consistency is important to the efficacy of coaching, so please try to reschedule within the same week.
The Client shall indemnify and hold the Coach harmless from any loss or liability arising from actions taken or situations created as a result of the coaching relationship.
The Coach and Client will not be under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or prescribed drugs used without the authority of a physician while participating in coaching sessions. This does not include drugs prescribed by a physician or over-the-counter medications used according to the directions label.

PRIVACY POLICY
Thank you for visiting us. Your privacy is important to us, and therefore we have developed this Privacy Policy to make sure that our Sites are positive and constructive spaces where you feel safe. This Privacy Policy covers only information collected on the Sites. It does not cover any information collected offline by us, nor does it cover the conduct of any Third-Party Sites. You may visit our site anonymously. In connection with the Services, we may request personal information from you (such as your name, street address, telephone number, credit card number, e-mail address) in connection with your use of, or participation in the Sites or Services. We only collect personal information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. We will never intentionally disclose any personal information to any third party without your permission ( through opting-in or similar procedures) except as provided for herein or otherwise as permitted or required under Applicable Laws. We use such information for our business purposes, to administer the Sites, to better manage advertising on the Sites, to understand how our users use our Sites and to improve our Sites. PRIVACY OF CHILDREN
We are in compliance with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. The Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13, and therefore, we will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. We require users under 18 to obtain the consent of a parent or guardian to view the Sites. You agree to abide by any such restrictions and not to help anyone avoid these restrictions.
SECURITY POLICY
By using the Sites, you assume the risk of an unauthorized security breach. Even though we take prudent and reasonable measures to secure your personal information, our servers, and our physical premises, we cannot guarantee that our efforts will be completely effective.
OPT-OUT
We include detailed unsubscribe/opt-out instructions as appropriate. If you need further assistance with unsubscribing or opting-out of any of the Services, email customer service at sandikajoy@gmail.com for assistance. Upon request and to the extent practicable, we will make reasonable efforts to remove your information from our databases. However, be aware we may be unable to remove your information from the records of any third party who have received with your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. At our discretion, we may determine that your lack of engagement in the Services indicates your desire to opt-out of the Services. For example, you may be removed from our email list if you have not opened an email from us for a certain period of time. You may opt-in again at any time.
CHANGES IN SITE OWNERSHIP
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of any of our assets or the Sites you consent to the disclosure to, and use by, any subsequent owner or operator of the Sites, of any information about you contained in our databases.
